What grade levels do you offer?

For the Academic Year 2023/2024 we will offer KG1 & KG 2 as well as Grades 1 – 9.

In the upcoming years after that, we will continue to open more grade levels up to Grade 12

What curriculum do you follow?

At New World International School we utilize international resources and teaching methodology to ensure that we are catering to the whole child.

What is the fee structure?

How many terms are there in an academic year?

There are two academic terms.

1st Term: September – December

2nd Term: January – June

How many kids are there in a classroom?

There is a ratio of 20:1 in every class.

Is there any discount on the fees?

Yes, we offer a 15% sibling discount. 

What are the timings of the school?

A normal school day starts at 8:00 AM and finishes at 2:30 PM.

For KG students the school day will start at 8:00 AM and conclude at 1:30 PM.

What payment options are available?

There is a 3 installment payment plan for all students. If you require a monthly payment plan please discuss this with the finance team at the time of admission – this option will also require Post-Dated Cheques to be submitted.

What languages can my child learn at NWIS?

From KG1 – Grade 5 all students are required to learn Arabic & English.

From Grade 6 onwards, Omani students and students of Arabic origin will continue to learn Arabic and have the option to learn a third foreign language.  Other expat students from grade 6 onwards will have the option to learn Arabic as a second language or to take another foreign language that is offered such as Spanish and French.

Does the school offer lunch for my child?

The School has a state of the art cafeteria that offers both breakfast and lunch to students who wish to purchase it from school.
