Curriculum
At NWIS, we offer a global 21st-century education, with our learning programs driven by-education-set benchmarks. It is a unique combination of international resources in order to meet the needs of all students. Our curricula have learning outcomes designed & practiced by leading educationists who are globally certified with over 200+ years of experience & expertise. Our focus is on curriculum and instruction, integrating technologies meaningfully, project-based learning, 21st-century skills, and multiple literacies.
Grade 1 to Grade 5
NWIS will be the first school in Muscat, Oman to utilize international resources and teaching methodologies, for our students in Grades 1-5. Our curriculum will focus on the development of educating the child holistically- both within and beyond the classroom.
Grade 6 to Grade 10
Grades 6 & 7 & 8 are currently open and we will continue to open up to grade 10 over the next couple of years.
For Middle School, NWIS will continue to utilize international resources. With a special focus on Languages, Performing and Visual Arts, Physical Education, Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Science, and Social science.
Grade 11 and 12
In the Senior Secondary School NWIS plans to offer both the National High School diploma and International recognized qualifications.
